Buckner Town Hall is currently owned and operated by Heart of God Fellowship in Buckner MO.  We are excited to offer you a great location to host  your special event.  Here are the rules for your rental.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call or text Melissa at (844) 444-7361.

1. Use of the Premise: Use of the premise will not be loud or offensive, or otherwise constitute a nuisance and will not violate any ordinance, law or regulation of any government office.

 

2. Event Date and Time: Tenant has indicated at least a 4 hour block of time for their event. You will access the event space via a key box hanging on the front door. Your passcode will start working 30 minutes before your event start time until 30 minutes after your event end time.

 

3. Food and Beverage: Tenant agrees to remove all perishable and non-perishable items before the end of the scheduled time. Kitchen utensils or equipment will be cleaned and not removed from the venue. Kitchen is a catering kitchen and will be used for serving purposes only. Ovens are available for heating. Anything spilled in the oven must be cleaned.

 

4. Decorating: No tacks, nails, 3M removable strips, or tape are allowed on any of the windows, walls, woodwork or floor. No paint, glitter or stickers are allowed on the walls, woodwork, mirrors, windows or floor. Nothing is to be hung from the light fixtures. There are white hooks strategically placed on the windows and door frames for any decorations requiring it.

 

5. Gum: No gum is allowed in the building.

 

6. Cleaning: Cleaning supplies are in the closet in the hallway behind the stage. All floors, including the stage, kitchen and restrooms must be swept and mopped. All tables and chairs must be returned to the designated area. Chairs must be neatly stacked and returned to the storage location. All trash must be removed and placed in the dumpster in the parking lot and new trash bags must be added to the containers. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your cleaning deposit. Your cleaning deposit is $50 and is due on the agreed upon date listed in this contract. The space is checked after your event and if everything is order, your cleaning deposit will be returned to you.

 

7. Alcohol: Beer and wine maybe served at your event, but all other alcohol is not permitted. Tenant is responsible for the condition of their guests while attending their event. The owners of Town Hall are not responsible for the actions of the tenant or their guests during or after the event.

 

8. Damage: A $100 damage deposit is due based on the agreed upon date in the contract.  Damage caused by ignoring #4 above will result in the loss of your damage deposit. Your damage deposit will be returned within 14 days after the event assuming there is no damage to the venue. Damage is anything outside of the normal wear and tear of the building. In the event of damages, the deposit is forfeited and any damages that exceed the deposit will the sole responsibility of the tenant.

 

9. Basement: The basement is off limits to the tenant and the guests.

 

10. Parking: There are approximately 25 designated parking spots at the event space. The parking lot at the elementary school across the street can be used for overflow parking as well the street to the west and south of the building. At no time are you or your guests allowed to park in the drive ways of the houses nearby, especially the house to the north of the building. Even though it may look like an additional parking lot, it is a private residence. You or your guests may get towed if you park on their property. You or your guests assume any costs associated with parking illegally.
